After photographing Chinese New Year events in Glen Waverley for the last 5 years I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and photographing the Hong De Lion Dance troupe each time they performed at the Kingsway street festival.
The team that run the show at Hong De Lion Dance are such a talented bunch and practice hundreds of hours each year to perfect their performance. This dedication to their craft is bourne out with the numerous international awards they have won, as well as all the international festivals they perform at each year.
They’re really talented and friendly people so it was with great pleasure that I photographed them again recently when they performed at a large corporate event in the Palladium ballroom at Crown. I look forward to seeing you all again at the next Chinese New Year event.
