Following a photometry conference that we photographed, the organisers asked us to attend their factory and labs to photograph some of their equipment and staff in action to help illustrate their services to new and potential customers.

Photography is all about light, so photographing the subjects in rooms painted with light absorbing black paint was going to be a bit more challenging than working with our usual industrial photography scenes which are often illuminated or outdoors.

On reflection, I feel we got the balance right between showing the staff and equipment in action and keeping their controlled laboratory environment looking similar to it’s usual appearance and will help to give a clear picture of what the business can do for it’s clients.
