We recently photographed a Gender Compass discussion event in Melbourne co-hosted by Philanthropy Australia, Plan International and Australians Investing in Women to celebrate the publication of Plan International’s Gender Compass tool and research.

During 2023, Plan International conducted research to help create a first-of-its-kind research project which segments the broader Australian public into six groups according to their beliefs, policy preferences and behaviours in relation to gender equality.

The resulting Gender Compass is a tool designed to help organisations build a more gender-equal society through the design of targeted communications that they use in their everyday work and interactions.
