…at ACMI in Melbourne, and what a cracker of an exhibition it is too!
I was there to photograph a corporate function at the exhibition so only got to see a small part of it, but I’m excited to return soon for an afternoon of Bowie.
Some of the items, lyric sheets and costumes look great and he has apparently meticulously cataloged it all himself over the years.
Not only is he a great musician but he is also a very organised!
ACMI always put on a great exhibition and it’s a really good alternative space for hosting a corporate event, giving guests something to enjoy while your brand increases it’s awareness.
The Bowie exhibition was a great example of this, with clients mingling with staff and colleague over drinks in the foyer before moving into the exhibit and followed by dessert after enjoy the exhibit.
As corporate functions go, this was widely enjoyed and it really showed in the photos. I think many of the guests would probably have visited the exhibit in their own time, but it’s always so much more enjoyable when someone else is paying as well as wining and dining you too!
