It’s always such a treat to work at the MCG on corporate functions and events as it really is a one of a kind venue. There is so much history that the place embodies and most AFL teams have seen a Grand Final held there at one time or another.
The corporate function that we photographed on behalf of Fujitsu brought together two sporting greats from Australian cricket and current AFL coaching royalty. Cricketer Mark “Tubby” Taylor and new Essendon coach John Worsfold both entertained the guests with sporting stories from past and present and also stuck around to answer questions and chat over drinks.
Following the Q&A in the Players changing room in the bowels of MCG, guests were taken on a tour of the stadium including a stroll out on to the sidelines of the hallowed turf before ascending to the Member dining room on the upper levels for dinner.
