Working as corporate photographers for events, functions and launches around Melbourne we have seen all the major (and minor!) event venues ranging from intimate private dining in unique locations through to huge events at venues such as Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, MCG and the Royal Exhibition Building.

Not only have we seen nearly all the venues around Melbourne, but we’ve also had the chance to observe and sample many of the leading corporate caterers that service many of the leading event spaces.

We’re glad to report that the catering services are nearly always on point, but for us, there is one business which always stands out in their consistency and quality of service, and that is Peter Rowland catering.

Led by Peter Rowland who has been a famous face on the Melbourne social scene since 1962 the business has always been associated with high profile, unique and iconic venues across Melbourne and Sydney.

Just last week we met Peter at an event we photographed at The Roof Garden at the Victorian Racing Club, Flemington where he was enjoying good company and the great views across the racecourse to the Melbourne CBD.

His staff ensured that even the event photographers were warmly welcomed and were suitably refreshed with chilled soft drinks throughout the night.  When caterers make that kind of effort it really gets noticed and we’re glad to be able to sing their praises as quite often, the photographers don’t get that kind of generous treatment!

With excellent food, service, plus friendly and courteous staff we are always happy to recommend Peter Rowland for catering at corporate events as we know they’ll always deliver the goods and keep their clients happy which is great for everyone involved – including us!
