Dads, Mums, kids, the talented, the enthusiastic and even the uncoordinated – they’re all willing to have a crack at booting a soccer ball on an afternoon stroll.

As one of the FIFA partners for the 2022 Soccer World Cup Qatar Airways hosted a soccer skills activation on Melbourne’s Southbank, inviting participants to test their soccer skills and fitness against some of the world’s best soccer players.

Needless to say, there were some surprises, some spills and some serious soccer skills on display, with participants all going home with a prize no matter how they performed.

As with all outdoor events in Melbourne, it’s hard to know how the weather is going to be, and this Saturday was no different – bright sunshine, light cloud, a sprinkling of rain, with the day finishing up on a high with a great sunset. Experienced event photographers are always prepared for whatever Melbourne throws at them so the four seasons weren’t a problem!

Brand activation events are always great fun to photograph and participants always seem to enjoy taking part which makes the photographers job easier! Natural laughter and smiles are hard to beat.

If you’re planning a public launch or brand activation in Melbourne, we’d love to help you with the photography and video so please get in touch below for an obligation-free quote.
